That would be the one where you take 2right turns just past the east dam off Montgomery Dr and it's great fishing there with great access from shore. Tons of crawdads there also. Some guys use to fish only live craws for huge bass. That was when trout were planted in the duclaccus days where he supposedly landed a 24 pounder. A month later there were boats
from as far away as Alabama crowding the parking lot.

About 1995 me and my fishing buddy took our bass boat to spring lake. They were still stocking it with trout. Gave him a white spinnerbait with white blades as it was spring and visibility was about 12" he landed and released a 12.7 off the tulies on the east dam

Use to walk over dam off Montgomery Dr. With belly boat or take bass boat in off newanga and just use trolling motor. in the 60's there were 2 lakes that I'd wade and catch bass and lots of rock bass also. Steelhead would be in there also. They dredged it into one lake in the 70's

You need a float tube or belly boat. I follow you and have fished spring lake since the 60's when it was 2lakes and fished everywhere since. I have a like new pontoon boat for $300 if you're interested. I can also tell you where to go for great fishing. Tom at 7074837129. My fishing days unfortunately over

Just thinking those look like rock bass also a perch but with a larger mouth than a bluegill. Santa Rosa Creek , Russian river and about all lakes around here were full of them years ago and they are still around. Riverfront park gets flooded which it has so many different kinds of fish from the river. If you park at the lot across the bridge at miracle on the Russian, walk back across the bridge and go south for about a half mile you will come across a pond in an old mining hole that you won't see till you are there. It's full of all kinds of fish or at least it used to be. You could drive to it 40 years ago but it's been fenced off since. The bridge is before miracle, turn left and stay to the left till you get to the parking on other side of bridge. It runs into west side road which goes to Healdsburg. Got to old to go there but bass to 6 pounds, catfish, rock bass, crappie and more should still be there. You have to walk down to the pond and it's next to the river on east side

I’ve lived in Northern California most of my life. Just got back to NorCal a few years ago. Looking to maybe get back to fishing. But, will have to limit my fishing to the shore line.

Any suggestions on where to fish from shore?
. New hogan you can catch strippers in morning or evening best but anytime you see them boiling on top eating shad with flukes or jerkbaits. Use light line to cast farther with spinning gear. Can always get bass with drop shot or jerkbaits. Lake amador has trout to over 10 pounds on power bait or kast masters but you gotta pay

Keep killing them ding dong since it appears to make you feel proud for some reason. Your pray group should pray for the bass you kill that you don’t even eat. Don’t ever even try to fish with bass real fishermen
