I’ve lived in Northern California most of my life. Just got back to NorCal a few years ago. Looking to maybe get back to fishing. But, will have to limit my fishing to the shore line.
Any suggestions on where to fish from shore?
Fishin for what? Welcome to the Stage. Plenty of good lakes to the east of you, some big ones like Comanche and Don Pedro and then Amador is quite a bit smaller but a really good trout lake. Then to your west you have the delta. Tons of spots over there. The mokelumne river is right there - don't know much about it but it must have some fish in it. Let us know how you do and post some photos?

I would say welcome back as in Kotter. But Lodi reminds me of CCR.
Good luck fishing. I’m sure there is some somewhere there to hook.

. New hogan you can catch strippers in morning or evening best but anytime you see them boiling on top eating shad with flukes or jerkbaits. Use light line to cast farther with spinning gear. Can always get bass with drop shot or jerkbaits. Lake amador has trout to over 10 pounds on power bait or kast masters but you gotta pay
