Has anyone on here used the Tauren LineWelder? I’m an old fart with arthritic hands and eyes aren’t much better. I gave up tying flies a few years ago and now it would be nice to having to use magnifying glasses to set up my rig. Especially hard to change flies. I have a 4wt four piece at 9’ that will fit onto most backpacks plus it fit’s into most carry on luggage.
The more pieces usually means a less responsive rod.
I’ve always found that small piece of C-4 works just fine 😈

I have a pair of magnifying glasses that attach to the brim of my ball cap. Working so far.
Easy coast is excellent but stay away from the west coast states. Too crowded and declining fish counts both in fresh and saltwater.
Who’s economy? Seems that almost all of the lower priced rigs are made in Asia nowadays. But then again, who can afford a Sage or a Thomas & Thomas Todd. They might get you some bragging rights but that’s about it. I still have my original setup and some of the pricier ones (my high wage earning children always know what to buy for presents and they both fly fish).
Do not try the garbage disposer. It takes months for the order to go away and it’s not sustainable. I mainly catch & release so not a problem for me.
