a few conspiracies
Great funnies. All right on. Amazing how it's changed. I had to get a shot at the school door in kindergarten on the first day. Lol
Well, the wipers were biting today. I went to Swanson Lake, in SWEST Neb. I went early and was there at 430 a.m. And they started biting around 830 a.m. ,of course. But bringing in my first wiper of the year ,really felt good. Those fish ,put on a serious battle. These were only 2.5 -3 lbs ,so not too bad, They weren't being subtle either. They would take your bait ,and jerk their body around, and take off on a run. I was extreme bank fishing myself, but saw probably 8 boats . It looked like they were locating the walleye ,on the shelves along the damm. Staying stationary and not moving a lot. I assume they were catching fish cause they sure didn't leave for other spots. That's all I got today.
I'm new be to this sight . I plan on doing some intensive bank fishing today . Wondered if any reports for Red Willow walleyes. Southwest Nebraska lakes will all be similar so any lake report would help.
Sounds like a tall tale. The Honey to do list never ends. It's an ongoing event. They've organized a system of no ends. But, go fishing anyway. It's not like you go every day . Right?
I fished side by side with a negative minded friend . I caught several nice rainbows and we switched places cause he wasn't even getting bites. I immediately caught another fish. So we switched poles. This entire time he was telling me it won't matter ,he never catches fish. Well,of course I caught one on his pole, and in the worst spot. I have to only attribute this to attitude. I believed I'd catch fish. I knew how to catch them and felt I would . So, either negative attitude or he's just plain jinxed is all I can surmise.ha
I'm new on this site and not familiar with how things work. So,I hope not repeating a question or asking in the wrong format or something . Anyway, I fished 2 of the Lakes last week and had little success. I fish from shore so that does limit my options, but places I usually have luck in,aren't producing. Am I early? I primarily use minnows either with bobber or a few feet off the bottom. Any thoughts anyone? I'm fishing Southwest Nebraska lakes.
