I'm new on this site and not familiar with how things work. So,I hope not repeating a question or asking in the wrong format or something . Anyway, I fished 2 of the Lakes last week and had little success. I fish from shore so that does limit my options, but places I usually have luck in,aren't producing. Am I early? I primarily use minnows either with bobber or a few feet off the bottom. Any thoughts anyone? I'm fishing Southwest Nebraska lakes.

Welcome to the stage Gregolio, if the waters still cold, they may not have moved up to the banks yet. Things should improve rapidly with a few more warm days and nights. Hang in there.

Welcome to the Stage. Fred is all over it (as usual). You could try varying your depth as the fish may just be suspended, but could be on the bottom? Good luck!

a possibility is that your bait is set too deep under the bobber. Most fish, if not all, see things more better up over than below/under.
