Is there a certain kind of 5200? The ones I see are for wood, metal, glass and fiberglass. I’m afraid that wouldn’t be flexible enough on neoprene.

I could try to patch both sides, but the hole is so small, by the time I was done there wouldn’t any neoprene there…it would only be thread. The hole is smaller than the size of a pea.

One of my fishing hooks got caught on my NEW neoprene waders. The hole isn’t big. But I’m looking for a recommendation for a good glue to use for the repair. Also, since it is so small should I just stitch it then put the glue on or try to add a neoprene patch to it? I look forward to your suggestions.

Most of the places listed are within 25 miles of each other.

Go to ohiodnr.gov and search for Chagrin River. Lake, Geagua, and Cuyahoga counties Steelhead trout fishing map. It will give you several locations. Personally, I would try Daniel’s Park and Dam first. Good luck!!

Cincinnati is quite a distance from north east Ohio. I don’t always go fishing on planned dates. But I could give you the names of some areas where you could go Steelhead fishing around this area in the Chagrin River if you like.

Has anyone in northeast OH been steelhead trout fishing yet? If so, where can you go that isn’t catch and release? I am very anxious to try this.

I do like to keep what I can. But that guy was just too small.

Went fishing with my son yesterday, who had his own agenda. He wanted to be someplace else! I didn’t use anything special since we didn’t have a lot of time. I caught one small bluegill and a small perch, both on night crawlers. That’s what my son likes to use. At least I finally caught something after getting nothing for two weeks!!

One particular bait that has worked well for me in the past is a three-inch grub in that dark 'watermelon-green' with a chartreuse curly-tail; it's been one of my biggest/best producers !

Thanks! I’ll give the Carolina rig a try. I have been using the cone sinkers.

Betts, I have tried a Texas jig with a plastic worm which was recommended to me by a salesman at Dicks. I lost two of them that got stuck in some muck. I’m going to try some minnows in a different spot. Wish me luck!

Thanks for the ideas! I have not used gulp. I do use Zman plastics. I use NED rigs with TRD TicklerZ, Finesse TRD, and TRD BugZ. I also have several smaller plastics. I have tried spinner baits and rooster tails. I have not tried using a fluro lead. How would I connect that to my line?
