I’m headed to Norfork Lake next weekend. I seldom get down there and was wondering how the bass were doing.
Hi Tom, Way back last August I gave a shout out for info regarding Pelican and area lakes. You were kind enough to share your phone number and told me to get in touch when the date gets close. We are doing an extended family event at Breezy Point. I will be coming up a little early with my boat (Ranger bass boat) to get some quality fishing time in before providing family boat rides :). We will arrive Sunday, June 27, and I get to fish through Wednesday. We will also have our kayaks in case that makes a difference. Then Thursday through Monday (Holiday weekend) we will be at Breezy Point.
Now to the point. We are looking for a nice place to tent camp on Pelican or somewhere in an hour or so radius. And then any fishing advice you can share. I’m from the St. Louis area and bass fish the Ozarks all the time. I’d be happy to get into some bass of any variety, especially smallmouth since coming north, walleyes, northerns, musky...

I’m headed to Breezy Point MN the first of July. Never been there and don’t know a thing about surrounding lakes. Love to bass fish. Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.
Our club just discussed the fact there are clubs who take out insurance or are affiliated with a group that covers them. We have never even considered insurance. Curious about clubs out there and if you have insurance.
My bass club is considering purchasing scales to weigh and release rather than our current practice of the traditional weigh in at the end. I’m looking for suggestions from other clubs using scales. Brands, formats, apps that may apply, etc. Thanks
I’m headed to Beaver Lake in Northwest Arkansas for the first time next weekend. I’ll be mainly bass fishing but on occasion taking my younger nephew crappie fishing as well. Looking for suggestions for both.
Anyone have suggestions for the best bass boat mount for an iPad?
I’m catching a lot of smaller, what I presume to be, male bass in pre-spawn along shore. I am marking suspended fish 14-18 feet deep offshore but can’t get a bite. What’s the best way to go after these suspended fish?
