If your an average size say 5’ 7” and weigh 145/ 175 you could do well in a 10 ft BUT IF YOUR BIG 6’ and over weighing in 200 up to 290 or so a 12 foot would be the one to go with

Yes sir there are still some in the ICW but the convicts should be moving out to their off shore spawning area. I love catching them. Pound for pound there’s nothing else that pull like they do.🙋‍♂️

Good morning to all the local friends that I haven’t met yet and to the ones I have. I am looking for some local angler reports of fish showing up in an area . From Jacksonville down to Daytona. For some reason information seems to be scares. Thank you in advance and remember to limit your catch instead of catching your limit🎣🙋‍♂️🎣

Hey snag your friends know what is right and so does your brother. It’s as simple as it get COMMON COURTESY. If someone ask you if you would like to go fishing on his boat he must like ya so be the same kind of friend and help with the cost of the trip🙋‍♂️

Common Sense play a role here. If someone paid for the boat, the trailer, the truck to pull it, insurance for said Equipment in some cases rods reels tackle. Why would someone even think about putting even more financial burden on owner for Bait, ice, drinks, gas, tolls, etc, etc, On my boat you help out where you can. And when we get back home don’t even think about hauling buggy before that boat is washed down and put away. If ya do theses things . I hope you enjoyed your fishing trip because you won’t ever be invited again. Common courtesy is more important than it has ever been. Tight Lines

Sounds like you have it down pat . Yes much easier to find them when it’s warm. Haven’t tried it yet but I hear it’s even better at night

It is easier to catch them when it’s warm because you can see them in large groups. But when it cold the stay out a little deeper. Watch the little sand piper’s they will let ya know where they are. Sometimes if they hook me up on the where abouts I toss them a couple of the small ones as payback .

Went our two different times on Flagler beach both times it appeared they weren’t there. I stoped walking and watched the sand piper’s they told me were they were. It wasn’t easy to get enough for a couple of trips. I was catching one or three at a time but hey I didn’t have anyplace to be and lots of exercise walking out of that cold surf to the dry sand were the ole five gallon bucket was. Caught around 100 each trip. Some times fishing is like hunting you have to do the work. When spring and summer get here and you can spot the fleas it sure is satisfying to scoop up 30 or 40 at a time. Anyway my fellow anglers I just wanted to let anyone that is interested in the flea they are out there . Tight lines. PS don’t forget limit your catch instead of catching your limit

Morning folks from Palm Coast FL. I have been a fishing fool ever since my mom took me fishing for the first time. Think I was probably around five or six . Mom found an old fishing pole, ( No reel ) some kite string and a safety pin for a hook . Bread for bait. Ma packed us a picnic lunch and off we went. Still remember the sound of the breeze blowing through the Australian pines as we ate our bologna sandwich. Never did actually catch any bluegills. But the first time I felt that rascal hit that bread ball I was the one that was hooked.I turn 65 this past January and my passion for fishing (any kind ) is as strong today as it was 60 years ago 🎣
