The bilge is usually hooked direct to the battery and bypass the power switch.
When we were kids fishing for carp on the river we would make dough balls out of bread . Take the crust off, put the bread around the hook ,spit on it and form the dough ball around the hook .Take care throwing it out .We had a ball at it. You can add corn meal or use plain corn. We broke several rods ,line 50# and once the reel see-at , The reel took out all the line guides What aq blast thing were much simpler back then 60+ years ago .
I wanted to have better maps so I talked to the guy at Bass Pro . He sold me the New C-maps ,said it was the same as what Garmin was putting in their units. I have a 2016 year unit that had maps loaded. After some time down loading !@@#$#% their update 2018 . I installed the new c-card. I wanted to check the detail of the new card to the older one. What I found was the New card had half the detail as the older one. Has anyone had the same experience?
The auto inflate tablet also has an expiration date and yes water is what sets off that is the ones I have . You can change the without setting it off.
My son tried it and it didn't last the day!
I have only purchased Lowrance in the past, going back to the first one called the green box. My last two have been HDS 7 and HDS9 Gen3. I have been thinking of moving over to Garmin Live scope. Have read some problems with Lowlance HGS Live. I do fresh water fishing in both inland lakes and Lake Michigan and Erie. Need some feedback,Thanks
Great for Rose Bushes,or find someone that eats them. Had an old timer years ago ran a bate store close to Lake Erie . Had us over served some smoke fish asked my dad what he though. We all thought they were good! Turned out to be Lake Carp.
Hose,Not sure it will work on bluegill As for salmon I remove the skin. For dragging the fish behind the boat, not pretty. A guy at the dock showed me some he drug across the lake. I do feel a electric scaller works better. Only about 15-20 seconds a fish.Anyway whats the hurry. Need time for a couple BUDS and reflect on the day on the lake. When your retired you try to enjoy ever day. But that's just me.
We leave the skins on most fish except salmon and trout. My son went fishing with a friend that removed the skin of a batch of bluegill when cleaning . After the fish fry my son went back to skins on. I think they have more flavor and hold up better when fried. Just me!
Have three ,There Great . Great for Perch and Bluegill. When you have a 100 plus perch it's nice and save time. My 12 year old grandauther can do a great job with it.
The guy with the flat tires
Did run into him some months latter at the gun store.
And great rolled and stuffed with crab meat and topped off with Asian salad dressing drilzzeled on top and baked .
Talking about a problem at the boat slips. My son and I came off the lake one day found a guy and his girl friend with all 4 tires and both trailer tires flat. My son wanted to help them so we spent that afternoon running them around finding used tires. He said he had a problem with a shore fisherman that had his cooler in the ramp space and did want to move it. He told him to use another ramp. When they came back off the lake that's what they found. Spoke with a Game Warden the next day about it and he told me that's why " I don't get into fights with people that have less to loose the me ". That's the sad truth today!
