I was just looking at a Megabass Big M 7.5 crankbait.
$34.99. Wow.
Got me to thinking. What is the most expensive bass lures you routinely use?
Mine is Megabass Vision 110s at $25 a pop. Crazy expensive, but my hands down favorite jerkbait in all depth models.

Wow! I guess that I’ve been out of bass fishing for way too many years!! I’m in the process of jumping back in when I move over to the Douglas Lake area so I appreciate the financial ‘heads up’.... lol. Like someone said, you get what you pay for!!

JW, I'll be there with you. This info helped me. I haven't fished in about 45 years. I think I went once or twice. Time to start taking time for me. Good luck. Tight lines.

Thanks, my friend!! 😎

Thank you Robert and OJdidit! Those are some of the same lures we used in the Southern part of Illinois where I used to live and fish. Greatly appreciate the input!

We are weekend fishermen at best. Our schedules normally take us in different directions. We normally fish both bait caster and spin cast reels, both using monofilament line. We like spinner baits and plastic worms. I especially like to fish with Rattletraps.
We will be fishing from a 17-foot Bass Tracker with a 60 HP outboard.
I realize that it is way to be talking about bass spawning but I am just trying to plan ahead as my son will need to plan vacation time in order to travel to my (future) location.

Hey y’all!
I am new to this forum and am happy to be here. I will be living and working next to Douglas Lake beginning in March until around November. I am looking for info from any seasoned bass fisherman regarding when and where on the lake I might have decent luck during the large mouth bass spawn. My son and I will be fishing from a boat and staying fairly near the damn on the north side of the lake.

Thanks in advance!
John
