After trying for a month and a half I finally caught a big red 😁

Hello everyone I hope your lines are staying tight and your freezers full of fish. My name is Manny and I fish the waters along the north to central east coast of Florida catching red/black drum, snook, and sheepshead to name a few. I’ve primarily used spinning reels for the last 15 years, but I recently purchased a Penn Squall 50LD reel for a charter boat trip in a few weeks. I have seen some people use big reels like the 50LD for casting on piers, I was wondering if you fine folks have any recommendations for rods to pair with this behemoth of a reel? Occasionally I would take it out on a boat but I would like to use it to cast further out on a pier or when I surf cast.
