Braided fishing line

I guess using that kind of logic... a Yugo will get you to the same place as a Maserati, a $2.00 six pack will do the same as a $14.00 one, and a push mower will do the same as a rider. each gets the job done... but the experience is different.

Braided fishing line

all my rods (both fresh and salt) have braid. I use Suffix 832 , from 4# on my ultralight stuff to 30# on my salt. And no you don't need 100# line to catch 100# fish. My surf gear has 10# braid with 30# fluoro leader and I can cast a lot farther then the guys using 30# mono. caught a 65# shark on that gear.
