That's a good number of eating sized Blues. Great job.

Also, at the north end of Oologah Lake it's much better if the wind is blowing out of the south. A difference between night & day. No wind? The bite is very, very slow.

In my area (Oologah, Grand, Hudson, Ft. Gibson, Copan) the crappie are beginning to gather around brush in the river channels and the deeper creek channels. They're being caught at 7-10 feet, and I expect them to go deeper after this cold spell.

If you can get a topo map of the area you will fish, try to find a small creek channel or a deeper area coming from the main river channel. I fish near these items on the shallower flats, and catch channels & blues from Grand. I use Danny Kings as a bait to attract them, and cut shad. Sometimes Danny Kings original is great this time of year and until October when the weather begins to cool.

We've caught many Blues at the north end of the lake, off the river channel on the flats. A friend's pontoon is what we've been on, and he runs it onto the flats until the boat hits the bottom. We anchor and fish in all directions using cut shad.

I know my response is a couple years late, but Talala Creek is a good crappie & catfish area. As mentioned, use a good topo map and find where there are drop offs, creek channels and etc. I have a small boat with electronics and I look for the brush in the creek channel areas.
I have caught nice crappie from the bank in late winter and early fall. The area I fish from the bank is around 8'-10' deep in late winter/fall. It depends on the lake level.

We fish in the Drowning Creek area with moderate success catching Bass. Depending on the time of day, weather & time of year we use top water and shallow running lures along with spinner baits and senkos. The area is also great for white bass, channel cats & crappie.
