My Dad, he was a very good fisherman. And I have carried on the tradition, taught all my daughters how to fish, and several other young people including my grandchildren. What a joy it realy is. Feel sorry for those who don't understand fishing and it's rewards!!!!
Have seen it done here in Nebraska, ruined the fishing for a couple days. They were harvesting walleye eggs for the hatchery.

Crappie , Catfish, Bass, Bluegill or sunfish. This lake has always been a good catfish lake.
Does not appear to be a cuthtroat, they are more colorful than that. It looks like a hybryd rainbow!!!!!!

Fished Johnson Lake a week before Memorial Day, Walleye bite was just starting but most were under the new limit size. Did have fun but only one keeper. In two weeks or so the white bass run should be in full swing.

Sand pits around Kearney, and the Platte River. All different kinds of fish from catfish to large mouth Bass and everything in between.
Branched Oak lake is the bigest around here. If you don't mind a long drive Lake Wanawho.
