Not me! Oh yeah, I asked the original question. Don't mind me, I'm talking to myself.
Has anyone been fishing the Klamath River in CA off Hwy 96 this year?
I am in Mendocino County. I fish a lot on Upper Sac, Upper and Lower McCloud, and sometimes Hat Creek up past Lassen. Upper McCloud is basically ruined. They advertise it in the Bay Area, attracting 20 times as many people as used to go there, and they literally pour farm fish in by the thousands. I'm just waiting for the graffiti to arrive and cover the 3 falls. A real shame.
I like the Upper Sac but it is not easy catching fish unless you know a good hole, which I don't...yet.
I also fish the Trinity once in a while.

Just getting the chance to fish is a wealth of good luck.

Mike I'm assuming you live up by Redding somewhere. We have several members from that area on here who fish those lakes and streams regularly. If you will add your city to your location, you will undoubtedly hear from those folks.
Thank you. I just joined this forum today. I am in Round Valley, Covelo. I moved here from Oakhurst last August. I'll be 63 in August. I just retired as a public school teacher. I have a beautiful 4x4 Silverado carrying a camper. An old loving dog and cat. I've been a fisherman since my Dad took us out into Boston Harbor, and I've been fly-fishing 43 years.
Has anyone fished this triad lately? I'm sick of staying home and avoiding the plague, and need to get my line wet.
