I’ve read all the reviews but looking for personal opinions.
Guide for two adults. No tobacco use on boat. Want to catch bone fish and anything else available in the flats. Then fish around Everglades. Want to cook some for supper if possible. Fish 3 days, maybe four. Depends on heat around early May. Will use key largo or islamadora as our base.
I am at croke reservoir at Huron and 104th. I have searched for a spot that matches where you are standing and can’t find it. I’m using the rock over your shoulder and the tree as a guide.
There are very few spots to fish as the water vegetation covers most of the shoreline.
I even bought a whopper popper which I had never heard of before. It’s early (4:50 pm) so I’m not discouraged. Just wished I could identify where you were fishing. I’m not used to bass fishing and would love to get one.
Thanks. Looking forward to the picture.
Can you explain in detail what Z head and wacky style are? I have no idea what this rigging is or how to do it. Maybe a picture would help.
Shore fishing
I’ve never fished here. Looking for bass or any other large fish.
Best locations to fish from shore?
Best bait to use? Worms? Crank bait and which ones? Etc.
Any other advice?
Thanks.
Does anyone know how the fishing is here? Species? Web gives conflicting information.
May go in the summer if I receive positive feedback. I don’t have a boat but I’ll see if rentals are available.
Been using them for years. Trout swallow them too. Fish here nibble the worm a lot. Setting hook early as suggested does not work. Until they pull under the bobber, they are just nibbling around the hook. Even when the bobber goes under and you set the hook, they often are not really hooked and I get nothing.
Says they don’t have the part. I checked them first.
