Me and my buddy Troy fished our perch spot for 9 hours on Saturday. Fished incoming tide and outgoing. Seems like the tide never picked up outgoing. We fished until dark I got 7 fat perch and a couple cats. Troy got 12 perch and a 19.1 ounce citation fish..nice day..off and on rain sprinkles but much less wind.

Very sad...ive been on that bridge many many times and fished under it last year for stripers. Can you imagine how the forman for the construction workers must feel after sending them on the bridge to work thst day?. One day either way and it may of been raining too much to work. So sad

Nice catch Andy.. me and my buddy fished the GB spot on the Choptank last Sunday. Another friend has been slaying the WP for a week there. The water was all the way up into the parking lot by the ramp. We fished over on the other side of the bridge. It was crowded but we muscled in and just couldnt get to the hole but we managed 30 WP in 3 hours..small darts and jig tipped with bloods. Going to try Saturday to see if they are still there

Hey Rick..check out Woodland Beach outside of Smyrna off of Rt 9. Some beach access and a pretty goid size aluminum pier. You can catch white perch, striped bass, various types of catfish and as the summer goes on you never know what can show up. Local bait shop down Rt 9 is Smith's Bait in Liepsic. They can hook you up with anything you need. Good luck

Good man. I had about 10 white perch in a bucket earlier this year
I stopped on the way home at my local Chinese store and as i was sitting there waiting i asked the lady if she would like some perch. She said Oh sure. I brought the bucket in and she went crazy that they were still alive. She said how many..i said take them all..she gave me a big hug and took them in the back in a big pan and they were going crazy back there..lol. she took $10 off my bill. I said you didnt need to do that they were for you. Just to see them smiling and happy made my day.

I always like a moving tide no matter what it is. But some areas i fish the fresh clean water coming from the ocean into canals or rivers during a high tide triggers a bite. Then also a falling tide back in the marshes triggers a good flounder bite with them feeding on bait being washed out of the grass and marshes.
