good luck, fishtail
Didn't I say brown sugar and SALT?
You should try it before you say that 67Mustang.
Hi Dokota...
The simplest and best tasting way to do that is lay your salmon in a cake pan or something flat with edges and
rub them with brown sugar and rock salt. It will make its own brine.
You'll have to experiment with time cuz' of the thickness.
GOOD LUCK, fishtails
Look it up on utube...they'll show you how.
fishtails
I heard that the king salmon return in the Columbia was much better than previous years.
Thanks for the response PaulFish...I grew up in Montesano so I'm familiar with the Hump. I'm now living on the Snohomish river. It's full of humpies now, but the silvers are starting to come in right behind them.
There are some kings in there too but they won't let us fish them. Maybe if we put some pressure on the fish and game they'll loosen up.
Maybe you should tell Garmin that your going to switch and tell everybody about their lousy support team and you might get some results.
I'm not from pike country, are they the same as a pickerel?
I'm totally against the new layout...you have to scroll through the whole list to find the ones that interest you.
I can get by without this site if they are going to leave it this way.
They had a good thing why did they mess with it?
Hey! Jim (fishtails) from Snohomish...The Snohomish river is full of Humpies right now, but the Silvers are right behind them.
You better get to the launch very early if you want to be on the water before lunch time...or, you might just walk down the river stepping from boat to boat.
When looking for a fish finder, all you really want to know is water depth, and is there any fish under the boat. Oh, and are there any snags. I've fished lakes, rivers the puget sound and the pacific ocean with an inexpensive depth sounder. Get one that's simple to use so you aren't spending all your time trying to figure it out.
fishtails,
