Had a tornado 10 miles west of us and a lot of damage to a small town 6 miles south of us. We had a little bit of quarter size hail but no damage.
Just had hand surgery so I'm out of commission for a while. Good luck!
The Iowa DNR website has a fishing report you can subscribe to that will send you weekly updates for all of Iowa by region. Oh, and welcome to the Stage.

Thanks all for the birthday wishes. I ordered rain yesterday so I could have the day off. 🙃 Went to the casino crab night buffet with family last night, and the slot gods were kind to me. Been putting in some long hours lately so a day to recuperate is welcome.
Thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes. I haven't had much time for the Stage lately, trying to get the crops out. I'm having trouble getting time off from work, so most of my combining has been done between 6 PM and as late and 2:30 AM. Weather has been perfect until yesterday when we got a good rain. My soybeans are done and I'm about half done with the corn. I hope to take it easy today, watch the Hawkeyes against Purdue and recuperate a little bit. Went to the casino buffet with the family last night, slots even gave me a birthday present!
