Bigger boars! lol. Gotta love a well placed typo. Welcome Steve. Good to have another Hoosier around.

My company pond opened yesterday after a long wait. Took the family yesterday and we did ok. I went back after work today and man was it worth it. Caught 14 bass in 3 hours. Not bad considering it was cold and windy. Catch number 11 came as a shock. Measured at 20 inches. No scale so I have no idea what it weighed. Until today I'd never seen a fish that big in person that wasn't in a tank. Still can't believe I landed it. I should've started using the Ned rig sooner.

Go into any public rest room anywhere close to our southern boarder and see the used T.P. stacked up behind the throne. That issue-problem has directly to do with inferior plumbing south of that boarder I was told. Been there seen that. Lived in Austin, Tx. for 5 years in the '90s and never got used to seeing it. I know exactly what you're talking about. We have seasonal workers where I work during the summer. They come from Mexico and Texas. We actually have signs in our stalls showing how to properly wipe. When I first started there I thought "Really? Why the hell are these signs everywhere in here?"

I thought that was bad until my buddy told me about the Guatemalans his company would bring in. Most of them had never even seen a toilet and had no idea how one worked. The company had to keep replacing broken toilets. Come to find out, the Guatemalans were standing on them and hovering over the hole.

Damn kids. I realize I'm only turning 34 this year, but as my username implies and my wife keeps reminding me, I'm a very old soul. This kind of thing always happens with my generation. Life in front of a screen. Gotta be plugged in 24/7. I only have this stupid "smart" phone so I can keep tabs on you folks. But I would never jeopardize my well being for it. I feel terrible for his family.

I've always loved that good dirty Delta blues. Out-of-tune acoustic with a medicine bottle slide, and to hell with keeping time. Just play it how it feels at the time. Unfortunately, as Oz pointed out, I can't play that style because I have a 401k lol.

Woke up this mornin' to a crisp 3*. High of 21* I think. Luckily it's only slightly breezy. It was cold at the factory but a bunch of us got the day off so hopefully I can stay warm and get over this coughing spell I've had all week. Wish I was down there with Fly so I could wet some line. Now I gotta go get some treats to take to wife at work. Happy Vday everybody.

They're like Walmart. I couldn't find it on their site either. I'll keep looking.

I went to Meijer again last weekend, and with my MPerks, I got $10 worth of jig heads for free. Doesn't sound like much, but they were clearance to begin with, so I raked it in. Can't beat that place in my book.

I just picked a couple up at Meijer last week. I think they were $3 each. You can try Walmart too. I'm pretty sure they carry them.

Better watch out or she'll start namenin them and then you can't use them for bait anymore.

You got that right. We took the girls outside one night for their first worm hunt a while back. We all had a blast but then my 8 yr old started naming them all. Took some convincing before she finally realised why we were hunting worms to begin with.

I'm fairly new to using braid but I have used both. I decided on the power pro myself. Smooth casting, good distance with little effort, and haven't had issues with the line crossing itself on the spool and hanging up on the cast. I think that last one was caused from when I initially spooled. I also had issues with the spiderwire kinking. I think you'll be happy with the power pro. My 10 yr old does really well with it too, but I think she's secretly a pro.

Kinda feel stupid for saying this but look into Jerry Reed and Chet Atkins. Wow.

Jerry Reed for sure. I've always been a huge fan. But it's hard to get close to Chet. He was definitely a master.

I do. Mostly 80s thrash metal, folk, bluegrass, and old outlaw country.
