Hi my name is Phil and my daughter has a home on Tims Ford and I am toying with the idea of coming down in March. I LIVE IN Iowa and have not fished that lake much. Will there be any Crappie biting that time of year also what are the possibilities of floating some of the streams, I love your area by the way!

I have a sea eagle 285 which is a one person pontoon. Very good quality and the boat is tough, light, and easily set up. I don't think you can go wrong with sea eagle.

I am in Hilton Head South Carolina for a couple months. Have never fished in this kind of area before and am wondering what to use for bait when fishing off of piers. Also how heavy rod should I be using? Looks like there is some freshwater ponds that might hold bass. Might try some of them. ThNks for all advice

If you just stay back from the water can you avoid the Gators. I kind of like my legs being attached.

I will be on Hilton Head south Carolina Jan and Feb of 2020. Does anyone know if there is any good fresh water fishing in that area. I would prefer small ponds for bass or crappie. Preferably without alligators.
