This is a walleye catch from Oneida Lake, in Upstate New York, when I was about 12 years old.

Ive never had luck with a baitcaster. I've wasted DAYS playing around with them. They either free spool and make a terrible mess or they do the opposite, Hold the lure back and preventing a good cast. If saving time is a reason to use these reels. Then I've negated a lifetime of "time savings" using them. I'm just not intelligent enough to learn how to use one.

I laid one to rest at the bottom of a lake in northern maine. It's probably the best place for it. It sees more fish that way.

I've been frustrated beyond belief with a baitcaster. Mine, fittingly as well, rests at the bottom of a lake

$149. It is lightweight and collapses to stow away in your kayak.

I purchased a 12ft Big Fish back in August. I haven't used it yet waiting till next season, but I would like to hear of good ways to haul such a long kayak. I just purchased a used jetski trailer which it's a bit too long to properly fit on the trailer.

I bought a C-TUG to transport my 13 foot kayak on the ground. You can find it at www.C-tug.com
