I kinda like jigs and live bait combos. And I apologize for sounding rude.
Water is water and fish are fish. When in doubt go to a jig. Can't go wrong.
Will be in Dania Beach for about 6 weeks from March 15. Like both fresh and salt water fishing. Any good places or tips? Would like some good Bass fishing. Don't have a boat.
You can try Lake Arthur at Moraine State Park and Lake Wilhelm farther up I-79. Good fishing in both. Best if you have a boat but you can do well from shore. Pymatuming is good too.
Good to know about not needing a license. Now I want to find some good bass fishing. Also what could I expect to catch in the canals?
I think that I will check that out.
I'm going to be staying in Dania Beach from January through April. What are the license requirements for fresh and salt water fishing. I'm 72 years old and a 100 percent disabled Veteran. Also any good spots for fishing. Don't have access to a boat.
Thanks much Graywulf and Griz17. And RJS you nailed it!
Thank you Grizzly 17. Yeah we weren't recieved very well coming home. In fact it was pretty terrible. Talk about discrimination! Never really wanted anything but a chance to work and get on with life. When the Middle East wars began I promised that if I ever saw those Veterans treated like that in any way they'd have to deal with me first.
Grizzly 17 thank you much for the post. I did 4 combat tours in Vietnam and coming home was just bitter. Only wanted a job and live like anyone else. When I hear that Thank you for your service stuff now it makes me wanna cringe. I think that was started around 911 to drum up recruits and patriotism. And I don't go for the free Big Mac on Veterans Day either.
I've never fished there but have driven through. I'd check the bait shops for what you need to know. Lots of luck and hope you get some.
Geneva on the north shore of Seneca Lake says it's the Lake Trout capital of the world. Somebody there probably knows something.
