I've got a lot of interest in the KS outing but don't know about lakes or types of fishing at that time of year in that area. I would do an extended stay. Weekdays are best for me only because of water traffic.

Rain Gear

I've been wearing a Simm's rainjacket/really light and wind resistant. Very expensive but worth it. It's light enough for spring and very warm in high winds and 20 degree weather. Watch ffor sales I saved $200 when I purchased it.

Boat Ladder

Look on the net There are 3,4,and 5 step aluminum fold up ladders that can be adapted to the transom that are neat looking and strong

Fishing Spanish Ontario, Canada

I fished Spanish last fall and the weather was tough and we didn't do very good. Any tips on where to go in that area ? we stayed at Brennan Harbour resort and were thinking of going back next fall
