Well done!

Got you a nice bass and a rhyme.
Sound like you had a motor problem.
But had a good time.

you all sure have some pretty birds in your nec of the woods, dumb but pretty

Brains are very small. They do a lot with what they have. More than some people I know.

I stepped out of the patio door/window to have my Miller Lite and listen to the Celtic Women on Alexa and found this poor little Indigo Bunting laying down on the patio. We do not have many around here and we hate to lose any of them.

Saturday this guy hit the window and knocked himself out. I poured a puddle of water in front of his beak. Eventually pecked at the water and was able to fly off. Lucky bird.

I see they have different products. Anyone ever use it on a fiberglass boat

Always test before use on your boat.
Not sure what different product you are talking about. Barkeepers is an abrasive. Just very fine grade.

It is great stuff. Very fine abrasives. I use it to clean a glass stove top. Hasn’t scratched it. It contains oxalic acid, good on hard water stains. Bad for fish. Best not to use it on the water.

Great on stainless steel pots and pans.

I don’t think I could get that monster without help. How did that one get in the boat?

What are you using for bait? I snag them by accident sometimes. I have a scale off this one. Bigger than a quarter.

Everybody wants to know where that pond is and who owns it. I had to promise him I wouldn't tell anybody. It's about 3 acres in size. You won't catch any small bluegills in that pond. All the bass are under 3 pounds. They bite so fast that they wore off all the paint and fuzz from 3 brand new rooster tails in just a couple of hours.

I can understand why he wants to keep it quiet.

There are several big lakes but it takes 1½ to 2½ hours to drive to them. The rivers are small and half of them run north and the other half run south.

That’s a big bluegill. Lake or river?
I used to catch them that big in the reclaimed coal mines in Pickneyville, IL,
Pyramid State Recreation Area. Very deep, clear water lakes.

A lot of big water around there. I’m 90 miles south of St. Louis by road or 60 by the crow flying path. Smaller lakes everywhere.

Hello. Love to fish in southern Missouri! I don't get to fish very much anymore. I took my nephew fishing last year and I caught a huge perch. Missed the state record by 14 ounces! I'm 53 and my nephew is 14. We are going to try to find a good spot to catch some catfish.

Welcome fellow Missourian! What side of southern Missouri are you on. I’m east.
