Now if you're talking largemouth bass, I could write a book on what to use!
I will assume you are fishing for trout. I like the Joe's flies early in the morning when they are hitting the top. I use lead core line with a 10 foot leader of 6# mono when I'm trolling. There are plenty of Rapalas that work quite well and rooster tails are also good. Kast masters are always a go to lure, and I have some luck with Super dupers.

Nice fish! I'll say 5lbs. on the money.
If you ever have the opportunity to fish from a boat, go to East Lake in Halifax, Mass. There are giants in there.
There is parking between the 2 bodies of water. The Billington Sea is on the left and Little Pond on the right. There are some open spots for shore fishing to the left of the boat ramp for the Billington Sea. There are numerous areas for shore fishing all around Little Pond.
The Billington Sea and Little Pond in Plymouth, Ma. You can also go for trout at Little Pond.
East Lake in Halifax, Ma. Deep in the weeds with an extra large shiner. No fish story - I have seen them twice that size!
Nice fish Rod! Now you're ready for the big boys.
