Just checked price for what I am guessing is an original / unused Bass Orino. If you have one better keep it in your safe rather than your tackle box.

I still have one from back in the 50s/60s. In North Idaho it was called the "Point Special"
stands for Sandpoint. Very effective for Kamloops Trout and was very effective on Lake
Pend Oreille. You had to get into the 20lbs. range to be in the computation of the Kamloops
derby. My biggest was only 19.5 lbs. That didn't even get an honorable mention. Sorry,
all pics are packed away somewhere. I'll have to look and post latter.

Good Luck and our prayers to you Ivey. Had to forgive the fishing this time around. The runoff is
really causing a washout. The sweepers are nothing to even think about trying to dodge. There are a few back water sloughs that won't to bad for some Blue Gill. Looks like a few more weeks if this heavy
stuff if the good weather hangs on and the way back in snow melt keeps coming. Grandson borrowed
the camera for some project at college, so no picts. of the torrents at this time.

Flying first class does have its advantages: After all, flying in the front of the airplane gets you to the
crash site first.

Mike: Jo-Ann's is a great place. I pick up many of my Marabou feathers there. The Peacock plums are
much cheaper than at the fly shop. as well as the beads and some specialty yarns. All-in-all the place is
a fly tiers candy store, especially when the wife makes the suggestion that we go and brings along HER
credit card. You have to look on the bright side of things.

Welcome Marine 1, I volunteer with Project Healing Waters with the VA in So. Cal. Fill in your profile a
little more about where you are located. It makes it a lot easier for the community here on FS to give
you a hand on fishing the area where you are located. Give me a PM if you need more about going
fishing, building fly rods or tying flies, we do it all. Oh most important. "Thanks for your service".

While you are walking up and down the stream don't over look the riffles and shallow water. Try nymphing
as you walk along.

The fly fishing game is all together a different game than spin casting. In spin casting you were casting
the heavy gig out to the fish. With fly casting you are casting the line out to the fish. If you have some
time prior to your next try to learn to cast a fly rod. Even the place you bought your gear will be happy
to show you how to cast the rod.

Good luck on your next outing, and tight lines.

Hi L.W. I live down the river from Thompson Falls and also fish the Clark River, only on the other side of
the Cabinet Gorge Dam. There are Walleye and Cutthroat to be had, as well as SM bass. I like the cutthroat
and usually tie a RED butt on my flies. And yes I have been skunked at times, but not often.
