Just moved down here from North Jersey and spent 40 years plus fishing lakes, streams up north, but not Familiar with areas around South Jersey in Upper Township.Any information on where to go would be extremely helpful.

Ponder lodge pond in the villas by North Cape May. If you look up Cox Hall, Creek wildlife management area you’ll see it on the map right now it’s loaded with very nice rainbow trout. There’s large mouth bass Channel cat Fish possibly some black crappie but I’m not sure if they restocked it or not. If you ever out there you see somebody sitting in a swivel chair that’s me. Good luck.

Merry Christmas Nanook, I hope you have a wonderful holiday.

Thank you Fred, Same to you!
I saw an albino Canadian goose at the pond Saturday kind of hard to tell from the photo, but I watched it for a few hours definitely a Canadian goose. It was really cool when they took off for their evening flight. At first I thought it was a snow goose, but it wasn’t.

Sounds about right! I watch that on TV when I was a kid and I was wondering who that guy was without the space suit.

Larger ones like this I filet, a little salt, pepper and dill and sautéed in butter. With small ones , pan sized, a mixture of corn meal and flour, salt the body cavity and fry til crispy crust. Good eats..

Great pic. Was he waiting for you to feed him?

I was hoping to catch a fish to feed him or her but I think its left wing was broken you can tell in the video when I woke him up.
Someone did call a bird rehabilitation place, but I left before they got there .
