What a beauty! How far out was your son. Down here by Hilton Head, we have to go about 35 miles out for one that big. Of course, you have to tolerate the Amberjacks and sharks. Thanks for the pic Gordon.
I've, nice catch! I'm also tired of catching juvenile bass. I'm waiting for a good one to post. The damn gators are still too aggressive up here in Oldfield.
Welcome Marisha, welcome aboard. I fish the fresh water ponds down here in Okatie, but get out on the local tidal rivers frequently. Tight lines.
So sorry to hear about your predicament Lori. I hope things work out well for y'all. What a beautiful lake you had. Praying that it gets restored to its previous state.
Hey Plunbob, I moved down to the Hilton Head area from Mt. Airy in 2016. I'm still a member of Legion Post 191. I appreciate what you're doing for veterans. Can add me to your list too?
USAF 75-81. Thanks
That must have been a nice fight! You had a great day ncduck.
Great day fishing Andy. What county were you fishing in? I moved to SC from Mount Airy, MD.
Welcome to the forum Coxmriguy. I've seen people fishing off of the Calhoun Street dock, but I fish the Colleton and Chechessee river from a boat. You might see about a charter trip from the Calhoun dock. Tight lines.
Are you looking for river fishing from a boat? If so, Sawmill creek is a good spot on the Colleton river. If you go to Hudson's they can probably hook you up with a charter, or you could try Sothern Drawl Charters, just off the island in front of Moss Creek.
That's a lot of action Gordon; nicely done.
