Good morning Doug, Brad and the rest of the crew. Going to be another hot day 92* yesterday and the same today 🥵 back to my spraying the fence lines at least I have a fan on my buggy 🤠 hope everyone has a good hump day and be safe 🙏

Good morning to all. 65* right now and going into the mid 80s. A quick shower about now then clearing out for the rest of the day. Should be a good day to get the rest of the tomatoes planted.
Brother Bob is on the beach and he's catching fish. I'm home and planting a garden or two. There's something wrong with this picture.😁😁

Hello stagers! Spring has arrived in Northern Michigan.. was a beautiful day yesterday without hurricane force winds we have had of late.. chores be damned!
Prepped my rods and picked a lake and went fishing!
Took me a few hrs to locate them, but finally found them! Tried a few known locations and caught a dink on a crankbait.. went exploring and found a bunch of Smallies that wanted to play…caught them all on a Zoom superfluke, cream and chartreuse color.. I missed several, could not get a hook in them.. so I downsized hook and game on. Ended up with 9-10 caught and released, biggest just a tad over 4lbs…nothing like smallies!

After researching Walleye charters for a few weeks back in February, I finally chose Captain Drew Bercaw to take our group out for two outings, Friday morning and Saturday afternoon. We worked out of N.E. Port Marina, Port Clinton, Oh. and boated about 9.5 miles to just south of the Canadian border. We cast and drift fished with spinner rigs and nightcrawlers in about 25' of water. The bite was very good with catching many fish from 13"- 26 .5"
It was a little breezy and rough on Friday with 3-5' waves and a little rain but slightly smaller 2-3' on Saturday. It definitely gave our legs a workout.
We ended up with between 45 & 50 pounds of fillets which will be enjoyed by multiple families.
We are excited about scheduling with Capt. Drew again for next year if not sooner as we are possibly looking at a fall trip.
A good time had by all.

Good morning to all. 64* some sunshine, going up to 79 later. Looks like some showers tonight, which is good. I'm planting a lot today and a little water helps things along. Might do some mowing as well.

Well, today was nothing but a relaxing day on the local lake. With all of the heavy rains, it looked like a mud and weed mix. Still enjoyed the peace and quiet. I'm wondering if this is still leftover bad mojo from hitting the skunk with the truck in Erie??

😁😁if you came out with a relaxing day at the lake, you came out ahead of a lot of us Doug.

Thanks Flytier, have a good time in the garden today. I gave up on mine this year, between the deer, raccoons and rabbits they clean me out, even went to the extent of installing a 6’ electric fence 2 years ago. Helped with the coons but the deer still cleared it from a standing jump, wish I had possessed their athletic ability in high school.

Funny you mention that. My GD does high jump on her track team. Long jump and triple too. Much better at the two latter.

Well mine was a burrito with corn chips and fresh made guacamole. Went down easy with a scratch made margaritas. Had a little lefyover steak with my eggs for breakfast though,
