I've got to take the Wifey to an appointment in Wexford this morning. We'll hit the road about 7am. Depending on traffic, it's about 1½ -2hr drive.

We Need A Doctor

A girl was walking on the side walk. She sees a man lying on the street, needing immediate help. The victim says that he is having a heart attack. The girl asks people around the street. And a man approached.

Girl: Help, are you a doctor?

Man: I am a doctor. What’s going on?

Girl: A Heart Attack!

Man: I am doctor in mathematics.

Girl: He is going to die.

Man: Prove it! 🤪

We'll be traveling home this morning, so it'll be a great day for a drive.

A rookie was calling up his station on his pocket radio.

“I’m outside the Plaza Mall,” he reported. “A man has been robbed. I’ve got one of them.”

“Which one?” asked the dispatcher.

“The one that was robbed.” 🤭

From one of us here in the middle we say thanks for your prayers and concern. Thursday night we got over 4 inches of rain with tornado's less than ten miles away. A friend who lives in Lincoln, NE "just happened" to be on the south side of town when there was a tornado on the north side where she lives. But then there's Elkhorn, NE which was hit so very bad. I have lost track of the people I used to work with who live there so all I can do is hope they are alright. It might be interesting to see if there are any stories put here on the Stage.
Again, thanks for your prayers for people you have never met.

Not only is it Looney Toons day, it's National Gummi Bear day. I luv Gummi Bears. Original, sour, tropical fruit.. it doesn't matter.. yummy sweet and chewy!! 😋

It's 41° on the east end of the state this morning and possible showers this afternoon exactly at the time the little guy has a baseball game. I hope the weather man is wrong again.

Hospital Regulations

Hospital regulations require a wheel chair for patients being discharged. However, while working as a student aide, Sam found one elderly gentleman already dressed and sitting on the bed with a suitcase at his feet, who insisted he didn’t need Sam’s help to leave the hospital.

After a chat about rules being rules, he reluctantly let Sam wheel him to the elevator. On the way down Sam asked him if his wife was meeting him.

"I don’t know,” he said. “She is till upstairs in the bathroom changing out of her hospital gown.” 🤣🤪😂

After our frost melted, I headed out to Beseck for a few hours. 44° at the ramp @ 10am, and the water temperature was 56.8°. Only a light breeze when I launched, but it picked up on and off all day. Most of my Bass spots were vacant but I caught a 2lb2oz Largemouth near the dam after an hour of looking. I checked the shallow end of the lake but saw no signs of beds. The warmest water I found was 59.5°. I fished docks all around the lake with no luck, but did catch a 1lb2oz buck on a blowdown. There were clouds of algae streaking the water, about 1-2 feet deep, all around the lake. Kinda unusual for this lake. It was an enjoyable day, and the trees around the lake are ahead of the one's at my house, so maybe spring is actually gonna happen. 🤣
