Went with the bride and the neighbors to lunch! After getting our beverages, decided not to order food! Cheeseburger slider with bacon, chicken drummie, shrimp, beef stick, a baby back rib, pork pot-sticker, cheese curds, olives, peppers, celery, pickle, lemon, lime and orange wedge!!! Whew! I got filled up again just typing it!!

Did some grocery shopping, prepping for a winter storm for central Minnesota into central Wisconsin. Snow possible up to a foot with wind gusts to 50mph! Thought spring was coming! Dang groundhog! Be safe!

But at $12.99/lb, I'm passing on it for now.

Whoa Kandy! Here in Minnesota, lobster is $30 a pound for cold water! A delicacy maybe once a year!

Consider yourself lucky Thomer, that the passages are big enough to let all the pieces run through, and not get blocked by them.

Indeed I am! It’s an’06 that I bought 3 years ago or so. Summer before last is when I had the hiccup. Been watching it carefully. Doesn’t get a lot of hours on it by us, once or twice a week weather permitting.

They must have gone somewhere Thomer. Is it flowing and running ok after replacing the impeller? I've never had one come apart before.

We have a pretty weedy shoreline and have to periodically clean out the tell tale, but it’s cooling/ circulating as it should. But I kid you not, there was more missing then there was still attached!

I followed this Chinese balloon for 200 miles before I realized it was bird poop on my windshield!!

I think he said that they already had the lower off and replaced the impeller, Steve. I agree that they should have back flushed the block while it was apart.
I've never had an impeller come apart before, only get set in a collapsed position from sitting.

I’ve got a 40 hp Honda, 4 stroke. The over-heat alarm sounded, there was no water coming out the pee hole!
When I took it apart, the impeller was practically non existent! Just parts of the (blades) left! Don’t know where the pieces went but got nothing out with flushing.

Thank you CamT! I definitely got long winded on this one...I probably should have made up a couple of different posts instead of trying to cram 3 outings into a single story! It is much less likely that folks will read it thru! Thank you for taking the time!

Mr Yaker, No need to apologize! As one who tries hard to hook a few of the same thru the ice I enjoys your stories!
I also appreciated the photos of the ammunition you were using. As I have several similar rigs in the box, I’ll have to give them another try. I had given up thinking they just weren’t the ticket! Just wasn’t the day! Good stories and glad you had fun!

When we retired and left the big city, bought a spot on a lake! Oh the glory! Sold the Harley, bought a pontoon!
Ahh yes, relax, float the boat, sip a coolie, soak up some sun! Hey, we could be fishing! Sooo, we got some gear and we have become fantastic fishermen! And if we keep reading your posts on the stage, we just might become catchermen!!! Love the relaxation and tranquility of life on the lake! Oh yeah, Mrs Paul’s fish sticks aren’t really THAT bad!!🤪🤪🤪

Got caught up in a couple of meaningless projects and didn’t focus on weather conditions here in central Minnesota!
It was pleasant outside for us for early February, 26 degrees, sunshine, and no wind! Got to be about “Happy Hour”, glanced outside! Absolutely beautiful! Full moon, mild temps, and still no wind! SHOULD HAVE BEEN OUT THERE!
