Hi everybody. I’m thinking of buying a collapsible rod w/reel to take on the motorcycle. Do you all have any recommendations? We’re going to be fully packed and probably won’t be able to add a bulky case, so I’m also thinking about how to protect it if it’s bungeed to our bags and all. Thank you!

Look around . I have one I got when I joined North Americzn fishing club many years ago. Five piece Daiwa rod and reel, small tackle box of plugs and two spools for the reel in a case smaller than a briefcase. I looked up online ND found Daiwa still has at least one travel rod in a case.

Thanks, fellas. I’ve been scouring Amazon and they all seem about the same. Wondered if any of you had one that you’d recommend. 😁

Thank you! We don’t have enough room on the motorcycle for a case that size, unfortunately. We’ll be loaded up pretty good with backpacks, jackets etc. Looking for something I can bungee to the side of my travel bag.
