I'm not far from Ray Hubbard. If you find a place let me know...maybe we can meet up and catch a few.

I'm just learning how to fish for catfish. I'm a crappie fisherman...not a good one...but i try. I honestly don't know of many good places to fish from the bank. I need to find some though.

I ordered mine 31 July. Hoping to get it by Christmas but it may be after the first of the year.

visited. Have had a bumper crop of little ones. Need to thin them out.

Most likely the case. Now, I just need to get into them. But first...I need my boat to arrive.

I just picked up my 2021 - 2022 TP&W Outdoor Annual (the yearly regs in Texas). I was very surprised to see that there are no longer size limits on Channels or Blues.

I don't have my book from last year but I'm pretty sure there was a 12 inch minimum on both last year.

Any Texas friends concur?

jps

Morning,

Anyone on the stage have any input on a freshwater version of AAA? a "just in case I get stuck who do I call" type insurance for freshwater boating...

Thanks for any input.

Nice looking boat you got rid of there PapaJ, Is the Fishing Barge a tri-toon? A tri-toon will take much bigger water. And the motor is?

No, couldn't afford a tri-toon. Motor is a Mercury 150.

From what I see in the photo...there is a lucky fisherman that now gets to enjoy your well maintained previous ride! Nice looking boat and I'm sure it served you well! Lot's of memories! Sometimes things don't last forever, and a time for change comes as the need arises! I hope that your new boat arrives earlier than forecasted...and hopefully you have local friends that may invite you to join them in the mean time!

Thanks fishyaker

Personally, I wouldn't buy anything from Dick's even if it was half the price of the other places. I do not care for them. I won't list my reasons for fear of being sent to the attic. Just my 2 cents worth.
