Had a friend who passed away a couple of years ago at almost 93. He fished about 2 to 3 days a week. He had a 14 ft. aluminum boat with a 6 horse motor and a small electric motor. He would not let you help him load or unload his boat, because as he said he would forget to do something if he had help. This gentleman would stand most of the day on our mullet hole and fish. At 92+ he was as wiry as he could be. So how old is to old? The good Lord will let you know. Till then fish on.

Two more thing you should try. Down size and slow way down. They will still bite but they are very lethargic and you have to let them have some extra time to get the bait. Don't give up, that day is coming.

Two times gators are to be stayed away from. One is when idiots have fed them like pets. Second is when they have little one. They will chase you down if you get near their babies. And they say for 40 yards they can out run a horse. I don't want to test that. Way to old and fat.

Very few. In 72 years I've only known one person to be attack by one. They now call him lefty. Think more about snakes than gators.

If the zebco is the one for bass, then it's heavy. Bought one for the wife, used it one time and gave it to a buddy. Go with the black max.

Phil if my old fishing partner had not died last year I could have really helped you out. He had a place five mins. from the boat ramp and really knew a lot about Eufaula. The only help I can be is to let you know with this warming trend coming up the fishing should get better. Won't really fire up until the end of Feb. or March. The fish will start getting ready to bed so watch those northern banks.

Doc let me say this. If the bay fishing is as bad as the rivers and lakes in our area has been, buy you some golf clubs. 2020 sucked. Between the rain and the temperatures the fish have did nothing right this year. We had no winter last year, rained all year and now we have all this below normal temps. Fished from here to Lay Lake Ala. Same everywhere.

Would take forever to sell one at a time, plus the cost of posting them on ebay. I'd say break them down into groups that are similar to each other and try that. I like to buy two to three of the same baits at a time so when I lose one I have a back-up. Of course it's all up to you how you go. I've got about the same amount of baits but a lot of mine are opened and used so one day I'll probably just have a yard sale. Less time and cost.

Guys last time I checked there was no virus in my boat so as long as I'm in it I feel safe. So just fish a lot more. That will make for a lot better year.

AIW I've fished all around Fla. and I've had good luck in the rivers with Zoom june bug and red shad trick worm for bass. I've also had good luck with crank baits. Ever river is different but these baits have always worked well for me. I'm up here in northwest Fla. where most of the water is dark or stained but you can't go wrong with these baits. If you're bream fishing get a bucket of crickets. Cat fish go with liver. Anything else you're on your own. Good luck. Hope you catch them. By the way right now it's 27 degrees up here so I'd forget fishing today.

From end of Feb. till the end of April. Like Saw says it all comes down to the weather and the water temps.

I bought a pair of costas and the fell all to pieces in two years. And I only used them when I was fishing. The rest of the time they were kept in their case. I now have a set of three year old oakleys and they are still like new. I even call the costas company and they just blew me off. But maybe I just got a bad pair. Anyway I'll never buy another pair.

Buddy try a Texas rigged zoom trick worm with a 1/4 oz. weight. Fish it on bottom real slow. Try to feel for cover. Bass relate to cover. Tree tops. logs, rocks, any cover. My go to colors down here are June bug, red shade, and gr. pumpkin gr. it's all according to water color. Remember were your cover is at to check on later trips.

Scale, fillet, cut out the rib cage and then gash about every 1/8 th inch. Deep fry but not to long because it's only 1/8 inch pieces. When gashing don't go though skin. Gashing let's the bones dissolve while cooking. You have one of the best tasting fish you can catch. Pure white meat. Better than crappie. And that fish will have two very big fillets
