Spot Tail for supper tomorrow. Wife is going to the grill one for us.

Nice haul from your friend. Redfish on the half shell. It’s probably my favorite way to prepare it. The next would be a courtbullion, then fried. Those trout are especially good too. Enjoy Gordon. 👍

Same principle with your oil pan plug. It's easier to replace a stripped plug than an oil pan.

She’s in the Dr office now getting radiation treatment for breast cancer. Two weeks ago the Dr said it was stage one but last week another Dr said it was stage Four. It took me 50 years to find her, I don’t want to lose her now.
Any prayers are appreciated.🙏

Prayers for Peaches and you BD. May God bless you both.

For an educated guy, Martin makes some mistakes over and over again. Went down fishing this morning and immediately caught a nice channel cat. Figuring that we would get a lot more, he released it. You got it.

You got it. That's the only one taken. Here we sit at Martin Creek Lake really enjoying the fishing even though the catching leaves something to be desired.

Wait wait! In five minutes just caught two nice channel cats and a very big sunfish. That's enough for us. Go sit by the fire and eat dinner.

I haven't been on the stage a lot lately but have followed and prayed for the many who have ask for them, to name a few Marion and Leo, RJS and Jean, the two brothers, and many others. Some here know that in October I was diagnosed with prostate cancer and have been dealing with the process of biopsies etc. The up side is after several Dr. visits and a second opinion with M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, the best available here, I found out that my and all of ya'lls prayers were answered. I went from 1st Dr saying I needed hormone therapy and 8 weeks of radiation to being told my cancer is slow growing, caught very early, and very small so MD Anderson has put me on "active surveillance" and no treatment necessary.
This is from a 15 year study of men with this type of cancer that the one's with radiation therapy and ones on surveillance have the same survival rates. So if the spot starts to grow in the future we will discuss treatment then. I am grateful for all of your support here, a great bunch of guys and gals that happen to share the love of fishing 🎣 and each other. Be kind and love one another, this has been a rough ride as many of you know I lost my wife to lung cancer 2 years ago and your support was very special then also.
Everyone have a good weekend and Texans enjoy the Houston Livestock and Rodeo and BBQ Cook Off.

Geez, how’d I miss that. I must have been sleeping that day or was suffering from a rectal cranial inversion. Good news Mark and thanks for letting us know along with the thanks to all the stage members offering their prayers and support. Will be heading your way for another job in LaPorte soon. Will contact you before I do. 🙏

New here. Just moved to Walker, La. I’m looking for places to bank fish. Don’t have a boat, yet. Any advice for bass, sac a lait, other good eats around Livingston Parish.

Welcome to the stage Jake. Don’t fish much if any around Livingston parish but have attached a link with information all around you. Check out the different tabs and comments. Look up bait shops in your area. Ask your new neighbors, you’ll find them to be willing to share information. Good luck and let us know how you do.

Hi Four,
I wonder what the water temp is in the Amazon where Piranha are native? How does it compare to southern US to northern US. I've heard of Piranha caught up north but no way they could survive the winter.

Hi Ed. Hope Cassie is doing better. Summer time water temperatures are in the 80 to 90 degree range. Winter around 50 or so.

Check this USGS site. More than you would think.

They maybe native some place in the US but are on the invasive list somewhere in the US.
Click on the name and you will find more about the species history and maps of where.
I am shocked. Never heard of most names.
Have fun.
With this new placement thing don't know how to interest the rest of US.

Looked for the piranha but didn’t see it. May have overlooked it. One was caught in Baton Rouge in the university lakes. Many species eggs, larvae etc, are carried in ships ballast water, like the zebra mussel. Essentially, stowaways. Others are released into the wild by people who thought they were cool to have but couldn’t take care of them. Smuggling, flooding any number of ways they travel.
