Cold Valentine's night night fishing paid off. Had to pay the wife off to LOL

I am going to try to post. The fish that I have caught in the last 2 weeks. You all tell me. That this is the worst time of the year. To fish bass? I have never fished. Pre-spawn to post spawn. So I guess I'll be up to a real treat. If my pattern and ponds Hold up.

I have been bass fishing for the last 3 nights after Dark. It is about 12:30. A.m. I just got home. It's winter out. It's dark. And the cold front just came through. And here I am. Night fishing for Bass. Caught three Monday night 2 last night and 2 tonight. Moving torpedoes very slow. The fish are coming up. When they're coming up. And just sucking them in real slow missed a few and caught a few. It's been pretty neat watching them come up and suck the bait in In order for me to catch them. I really had To let them take it. And I caught two. On the second cast Because I Miss them the first time. Anybody Out there as crazy as me!?

I bought the light medium Ugly Stik combo. I recommend it for a light action rod. The only problem is with that light action. Or this Rod anyway. Is it hard for me to get a hook set. Once the Fish is on. It is a great rod. This combo will let you cast. A quarter ounce jig about 40 yards 50 with the Wind. I like it.

I needed another Bass. Rod and reel. Wow, are they expensive! Everybody says save to get the nicer one. Well, I have the fishing disease. And couldn't wait. I went against my better judgement. And bought a H2O Xpress combo 2 ball bearing reel 6 6 rod. I was ready for a backlash on my first cast. To my amazement this combo work better than my expensive one. I paid under $50 for it. It is really nice. I like it. I highly suggest you purchase this rod and reel combo if you are looking 4 something on a budget And if you are new or just looking for a second rod. I give it six stars out of five.

I bet that bass. Has eaten a lot of bass. !

Caught 18 fish today smallest one Scale said 1.70. I can't believe this pond. In plantersville. They turned on today. !
