I have been bass fishing for the last 3 nights after Dark. It is about 12:30. A.m. I just got home. It's winter out. It's dark. And the cold front just came through. And here I am. Night fishing for Bass. Caught three Monday night 2 last night and 2 tonight. Moving torpedoes very slow. The fish are coming up. When they're coming up. And just sucking them in real slow missed a few and caught a few. It's been pretty neat watching them come up and suck the bait in In order for me to catch them. I really had To let them take it. And I caught two. On the second cast Because I Miss them the first time. Anybody Out there as crazy as me!?

I once fished all night until daybreak. It was a experience
I will never forget. You feel like you are fishing blindfolded but your other senses kick up a notch. My biggest trill was a six lb largemouth caught on a Senko worm. I released it. He deserved it.

I went night fishing on a lake charter boat one time in California. We headed out just before sunset and anchored near the dam. The captain dropped lights in the water about 25’ down to draw in the bait fish. After a while you could see big shadows moving around near the light. Then we dropped our hooks with garlic dipped night crawler and it was fish on all night long. We all brought food and drinks to share. There were bunks down below if you got tired and the captain made us a big breakfast in the morning before heading back. Fun night.

Yep, lm pretty nuts when it comes to bass fishing! I’ll fish in the worst possible conditions just short of a tornado or lightning! Freezing cold, gale force wind, 115 degrees, day,night, rain, hail... the mail man got nothing on me!😆🏄🏼♂️🎣

People here in San Diego fish for the saltwater bass at night and do quite well.
Just don't fish alone for safety reasons.

Lake McQueeny North of San Antonio had great fishing from a lighted dock back in '68 when I was stationed at Fort Sam for AIT.

Over the past 25 years I have been spending a week with a buddy in Sept. Fishing out of a canoe from sunup to sun down. Been to Kentucky, Wisconsin, Canada and at least 150 different lakes in the upper peninsula of Michigan. Fishing in snow, sleet, rain, wind and 100 degree temps. You are not alone! There are others of us who are just as enthusiastic about fishing!

Haven't been alone for a long time. Grew up on an Appalachian tobacco farm on the shores of White Oak Creek. Every Spring, from March until June (or until the young chickens got big enough to eat), that ole creek kept us in protein. We used trotlines, banklines, cane poles, and gigs for catfish, carp, bass, rockbass, sunfish, bullheads, frogs, and turtles, and ate `em all. One of my side hustles was catching nightcrawlers and selling them to the local bait shop for a penny each. It was as good as throwing haybales and working in tobacco, which in the early '60's paid $5 a day, and on a good rainy night, I could easily catch over 100 'crawlers an hour. These days, I hunt smallmouths, sauger, saugeyes, walleyes and crappies in local lakes, streams, and the Ohio River. Still live at the old home place too.
