Great day today, took a couple of buddies out and we landed 11 fish. 7 undersized, 4 keepers. 2 fish over 30โ€, largest was 32โ€ and 14lb. Of course we lost a big one as I miss gaffed him. Made for some very nice fillets.

Weather was nice and calm most of the day, wind picked up around 1 and we had to head back in.

K krew,,,sounds like a great day,,,way to getum!!!

I was mainly tryin to show how much snow was still left in some places.
You can see guardrails along certain areas of the highway that have been taken out by avalanches. Really shows how powerful they are..๐Ÿ˜ณ๐Ÿ‘Ž

Hi! I'm a Survivor of a deadly wildfire & before the fire I fished everyday in the SF Bay Area. My leg was badly burned during my escape from the fire & I ended up losing my leg & I'm in a wheelchair now. It's been 5 years since I fished & I want to get back into it again. I do saltwater & freshwater. And I'm in Sacramento now. I need some suggestions of places in Sac or close to Sac that I can get to in a wheelchair. Ive reasearched where all the wheelchair accessible fishing docks are around here but I'm looking for places that have spots I can roll up to & fish. So like flat grounds or concrete, or even a steep drop leading to the waters edge that I can launch a line out. (Not to brag but I can cast like you wouldn't believe).
Thank you for any suggestions

I live up here in the Red Bluff area of Ca. Iโ€™m a bass man.
I keep hearing about fishing the Delta. Problem is I canโ€™t find out a thing about it.
Where is it? Where do you launch? Best place to catch bass? Is it a river or lake.
Can someone help?
Thanks
Mike

Halem,,,saw is right I've been hitting the delta for a little while ,,still learn something just about every time out!!! There are lots of places to put in and literally a lifetime of spots to fish,,,matter of fact wife and I are looking at getting a spot in discovery bay in the next few months,,,anyways there are tons of videos on youtube, depending on conditions and kind of boat youhave, personal preferences etc,,really no bad spots to try,,,everything is running late, unfortunately the sacto river is still way high and discolored in my normal striper spring spots,,dm me if you like and we can talk,,,tight lines bud

Got the boat service and bottom paint done and launched it, then went for Halibut. Had to use frozen bait because the seals ripped open the nets of the bait supplier. Had a great day, boat was great, modifications worked well and landed a total of 8 fish with 4 of them legal. Couldnโ€™t ask for a better outing.

40grit,,wow, boat looks great,,halibut looking pretty good too!!!congrats bud!!

Thanks to all the great guys at the meet and greet at clear lake, it was a pleasure to get to know some of the members in person. If you are part of FS and missed it you should definitely put it on your list for next year. Special thanks to Rhyno for all that he did to make it happen

You ever have one of those days where something happens and you and your fishing partner drive home in silence. Well it happened to me yesterday between me and my 1st mate. I forgot and didn't bring his wet weather gear because I didn't think it was going to rain but for maybe a sprinkle or 2. But I guessed that wrong at one point the rain was coming down pretty good. My first mate he's pretty much a fair weather dog. He's really not into to going out into the rain or even the wind and we had both yesterday. I tried putting the top up on the boat for him. But and he still wasn't having any of it. So I called it day and off the water 2:00. But I guess I that wasn't early enough for him. He gave me the cold shoulder all the way home and then some

Took my brother in Law out fishing yesterday and we caught 2 limits of Halibut. The fish were a little bigger than the day before, couple of 26 and 27โ€.

Caught with Flashers and Herring, 12-18โ€™ water.

Like some fishing days, we lost a big one at the boat (Donโ€™t use cheap gear) it broke the hook.

K krew,,great catch!!! I gotta get out there!!
