Started my 8 day vacation at Almanor today. We caught 22 with 20 being Brown Trout. Caught a nice 5+lbnder and a 7 + lbnder. More to come tomorrow.

Slower day yesterday with only 17 of which 7 were Browns. I did find the larger rainbows and developed a pattern at the end of the day, so today should be good.

Water temperature is 53 for the first 25’. There’s a small mouth tournament this weekend
