Bd, do you know the trucks towing capacity? That's a biggie. We started in a pop up and have gone to a 28ft bmpr pull and up again to a large 5th wheel, only to be missing the pop up. They are light, durable, roomy for 2 ppl. We used the 2nd slide out bed as our closet. They take less room for storage and easier to winterize. For overnight privvy, the camping bucket with seat was fine (enzymes!). Ours had a ball hitch on it but we never used it. The longest we camped in it was 3 weeks traveling. Used a 1500 dodge with no issues. Hope this helps.

The Blue River is a fantastic fishery. The County park North West of town has good fishing. Lake Texhoma is just a couple miles west. Lots of other creeks and ponds.

I have an early Dr's appt on Tues morning. The weather will be windy with some rain chances. I'm wondering if anybody has been pulling wipers/stripers from below Wilson dam and what's been working. Can't pass the opportunity to bend a rod! Tight lines

Nice boat! My recommendation is that you put guides on the trailer with small dim lights on top. These guides will assist in KNOWING where the trailer is tracking when backing down the ramp when unloaded. They will also serve as guides for loading the boat onto the trailer. The lights are for loading at night. Hope this helps.

A couple new world records have come outta that fishery lately. I'm kinda jealous if that's you home lake! I had my first pb lmb that was worth calling a pb outta there. 5#7oz back in the late 80s. Tight lines
