Some Late Night Bass Fishing

Met my buddy Jason and hit two ponds tonight. We both had to work hard but landed some beauties. This was the largest of the night and was caught using a Googan Whopper Plopper. Didn’t weigh this bass but it was a 5+ pounder for sure. Can’t wait for fall.

Some Late Night Bass Fishing

The Texas heat has been crazy this summer. Late last night was a perfect setup to go out and catch some bigs. Full moon overhead and temps in the low 80’s. It was nice catching some beautiful bass under these conditions. I had to work for them for sure but the effort was well worth it. Caught 5 total late last night and here are the 3 largest. The other 2 were dinks.

I have great success Texas rigging a Strike King 4” Rage Bug late at night. Also bladed jigs and regular jigs so try that. Kayak fishing on my Bonafide SS-127 just brings fishing to a whole new level. I kayak fish mostly at night as well with great success. Good Luck
