Welcome, this is Richie. Use to live and fish in Titusville. FL. I would fish the Indian River for red fish, snook and trout. After I got a bigger boat would go out of Port Canaveral. Would run out 30 miles for sails, Wahoo and what ever. Easier to fish inlets more south. Much shorter run to the stream.
How far out do you go to get to the Gulf stream?
Would love to hook up some day if interested.
Take care
Rich
Hi Terry and Lois, this is Rich. I live in The Villages and Leesburg on Lake Griffin, ( The Harris Chain of lakes) Fish for Bass and Crappie. Miss salt water fishing at times. We are only a mile apart. Perhaps we could take turns at both locations.
Let me know and welcome.

2.5 million customers without power.
The deadliest Hurricane in FL history.
Just heard, Lee County (Ft Myers) there are hundreds of fatalities
So sad!
Thank you, the SW coast of FL got hammered. 140 mph winds and a Hugh storm surge of 8 -10 feet.
Tropical storm now, north of Orlando moving up the coast to Jacksonville then out into the ocean and then landfall again in Georgia or South Carolina.
2 million customers with no power.
Ian was a BAD one.

Thanks, slow moving huge storm.
All ok here in Leesburg. The SW coast is getting slammed. Thanks for you prayers.

Keep an eye on the weather channel.
Thanks to all of you for thinking of us in Florida.
I pay attention to all the warnings. Got all loose items in the yard secured and inside. Got a full tank of gas in my car, extra cash, plenty of bottled water and beer.
Hope to be fishing again Saturday.
Thanks for caring.

Hey Alan, I am planning to get over your way in the next few weeks. Can you send me contact info.

Hi Alan, Richie here. I use to live in Titusville and would boat down the Indian River and fish out of the Ft Pierce inlet. Very safe inlet compared to Sabastian. I get to Ft Pierce know and then, perhaps we can hook up and do some fishing.
Didn't know you were in a tournament.
Good luck
Might try live shiners under a bobber or freeline. Usually catch bigger bass with live bait. Good luck, if you try it let me know how you do.
