I live in Grovetown, GA., about 15 miles west of Augusta, GA. I've usually used chicken livers on a True-turn hook with sewing thread wrapped around the livers, but a fellow fisherman showed me a stringer of eatin' sized catfish (1 1/2-3 lb) he's caught using dip bait.

I'm new to this site and new to catfish dip baits. I've been using chicken livers for years. I went out to the lakes this afternoon and met a guy that had a whole bunch of channel cats on a stringer and he told me he's used dip bait. I'm curious about the procedure of using this stuff.
