I bought the Garmin EchoMap with Panoptix LiveScope. Amazing. Still learning it but the images are outstanding.
I've never fished Lewisville or Ray Roberts. I mainly fish Tawakoni and Fork. Branching out to Palestine. Yes, I love McKinney. Great downtown area. I've been through Blue Ridge but that's all I can say about that.
I've actually just returned to fishing after a 15 year break. Bought a boat about a month ago. Trying to relearn and learn the new electronics. A bit overwhelming but I'm getting there.
Let me say that I really like Yeungling (I think I spelled that correctly) but it's hard to find down here in Texas. And, to be honest, the worst I've ever had was some cr@p in Korea a few years ago. Don't remember the name. Still trying to forget the taste.
Wow. That's kinda like asking which is prettier, a blonde or a brunette. :)
Depends on many factors, in my opinion. But, I can say that I don't care for any IPA that I've ever had.
Lake Fork. Public ramp on FM515 east. I've launched there several times with no problem. I guess I let the wind push my stern more than I thought but I was still several yards away from where I believed there would be any trouble.
Howdy,
I'm northeast of Dallas, out in "the country." I was fishing Lake Fork when the prop damage occurred.
Thanks! And you may have a valid point!
I wasn't more than 2 ft wide of the courtesy dock. Bass tournament going on with folks trying to get in for weigh in, (I wasn't in it), so I probably backed out faster than normal to clear the ramp. BAM! Hit a rock.
<sigh>
New prop installed and going to try to get this one fixed to keep as a spare.
<sigh>
RJS - I had a good time despite not catching anything.
I'm blaming it on the change in weather because otherwise I have to blame it on myself. :)
I crappie fished two lakes in NE Texas over the weekend. Minnows, variety of jigs, multiple locations on each lake. Not even a nibble..
Maybe next weekend will be better!
What lake in North Texas? Just curious.
