😂 LMFAO!! Never even thought about some dumb ass trying to “stir the pot”!!
Geeze I guess that’s what happens when you take things at face value. Never had a fisherman or someone “interested” in fishing come on one of these sites to just get a rise outta the real members.....

Also lost a few very good friends due to ignorant people putting themselves in situations of danger over the years. It’s a very sore subject for me personally....
.... I feel like the ass now.....

Hey have had Karl’s as well as mystery tackle box and lucky tackle box... depending on what they set you up to receive will determine what you get but all in all I think it’s an 8 out of 10. Decent products although they are not typically name brand but I’ve found great alternative products that work just as well as name brand and have actually been ordering online and saving a ton of money. Good way to find alternative brands the big boys don’t carry and aren’t big enough for commercials or advertising but like I said good opportunity to find smaller companies products and if you like and they work for you typically you can get in touch with them on the web and order from them.... I use a new plastics company I found via lucky tackle and don’t buy yammomoto anymore and am saving a TON of $$$

Got it for Christmas a few years back... works well but I think it’s geared to beginners to be honest so they don’t hook themselves when tying hook to line. It’s a novelty in my estimation.... but does work

Welcome!! No time like the present to learn anything new. Great thing about fly fishing is you can practice casting in a large garage or even a front/backyard... just don’t put a fly on the leader and put a few frisbee’s, plates or even cups/coffee mugs out and try to land on or in them!! Best way I learned how to cast accurately!! I put a small piece of cork cut from wine bottle cork on end of leader to simulate casting a fly. Actually used sewing needle to attach it to leader and use a small piece of cork dive of small house fly.... cast away!!

DID ANYONE READ THE POST??? They want to FLYFISH BUT CANNOT SWIM???
I RESPECTFULLY DISAGREE!!! Forget a pull string PDF if you can’t swim you WILL PANIC and forget about pulling the strings.
I’ve seen A LOT of people who cannot swim go in the drink and it’s PURE PANIC!!
You need to get comfortable falling into and underwater 1st and foremost. Once you can jump into 8-10 feet of water and get yourself to the side and out before you wade into a moving river or stream!!!! Please I beg you for your own safety learn to swim before ANYTHING ELSE!!!

Well I’d say before starting to fish learn to swim!! Honestly. Join a local YMCA or gym that offers lessons. I couldn’t imagine being on a boat or even wading in a river without knowing how to swim. Water especially moving water is POWERFUL!! Even advanced swimmers have fallen in waders full up they panic and drown... waders are a great tool but can be an anchor once they start to take water....
My advice even if you learn to tread water and doggie paddle just learn enough to keep you from killing your self or even worse someone else!! I was a lifeguard and had co-workers also friends die from trying to save people who had NO RIGHT even doing what they were putting themselves and ultimately others at risk because they were thoughtless and selfish!!! Nothing worse than trying to help somebody who’s panicking in the water been there and survived that.
SO FOR EVERYONES SAKE PLEASE GET COMFORTABLE IN THE WATER AND LEARN HOW TO SAVE YOURSELF BEFORE YOU ENTER INTO OR AROUND A BODY OF WATER TO FISH PLEASE!!!!
Been fishing for as long as I can remember and have ended up in the water more times than I care to admit trying to land fish or simply slipping in.

Shark is actually a very good tasty meat... depending on species... I’ve had mako, spinner shark, black tip and thresher..... all very very good white meat fish. Keep in mind some of the sharks listed have size limits others may not depending on state caught in. The other thing to keep in mind is if you do plan to keep them and the size limit is large you will have A LOT of meat so plan on giving away a lot or donating to shelters. Get a plan in place so you do not harvest a fish if that size only to have it go to waste!!! Food for thought!!

Sounds like you’ve done your homework quite well. My 2 cents.... depending on your preference look at a yak that will allow for a soft cooler mount if you plan on keeping fish.... also be sure to invest in a good PDF and last but not least good tie downs for rods.... I cannot tell u how many ppl I know lost gear because the rod holder failed and their rod and reel went in and was gone.... can be an expensive mistake.

What do you want to catch?? Anything there are a ton of snapper blues in the inlet as well as jacks and fish to just catch for fun or are you looking to get some groceries?? Speckled trout in and renting a YAC or SUP is cheap and will get you into good areas too.
