Back in the '50's We used to find and collect soda bottles then one of us would take them to this one Mom & Pop grocery store, ( Back when there was a grocery store every few blocks !! ). The grocery knew us and would have us take them out back, where we would hand them over the fence to a friend, or Cousin in this case, then cash them again or take them to a different store and get credit AGAIN !!! Pretty sure the grocery knew what was going on, but he knew all of our family and never said a word !!

Couldn't help myself had to mount this Girl !! 12# 2oz on a Broken Back Jitter Bug just as the Sun was going down !!! Unfortunately the Taxidermist didn't get her belly right, it hung down at least another 2 inches. He did low his fee tho.

Some things to pick up next time you head over to the military base supply:

Can of Relative Bearing Grease
Spool of Red and Green Flight Line
Left-handed Monkey Wrench
3 Cans of Reverse Osmosis
Quart of Blinker Fluid

I'm sure there are many more too !

If you decide to tape them up, you want something that will withstand the weather and UV from the sun. Try boat or auto pinstripe tape. It will last much longer than electrical or masking tape.

Yeah, I never thought of using that !! Thanks !!

I think they'd be OK if somehow the top side of the case could be Blacked Out so you couldn't see directly into the lights. I'm gonna try taping it off.

Of coarse !! And thanks ! I also lay a strip of Bacon over a Venison or Elk Steak to keep it juice. Any Game meat should be cooked "Low n Slow" to avoid over cooking and drying out of the meat. Another great tip I learned is when I hung my game, I De-Boned ALL of the meat. I then would put it into a cooler of cold water for a minute, then lifted it and let it drain, then into another cooler of water again for a minute, lift, drain and then onto Zip-Lock bag and dip into another bucket of water just up to the seal pushing all the air out, and then Zip the seal. This is like Vacuum Packing. Then off to the butcher to be sliced and frozen. I also INSIST that he clean any Blade or Saw before he did any cutting. The reason I did all this was to insure that no Bone Marrow get spread thru the meet. The Marrow is where all the bad flavor is from whatever they have been eating. I've had other hunters and butchers say there's no difference, until they eat some of MY meat !!!

I have a question for y’all. Before I install them. I’ve been reading a lot of controversy about led lighting. The only thing I’m doing is putting green led strips on the inside of the gunnels for night fishing so we can see. They will not be on while underway how ever drifting at 1 mph I may. Does anyone have any experience with extra led lighting? I want to be a legal beagle but this seems to be a gray area. I was going to put a light bar on the bow for running and that seems to be a definite no , no.

I have Blue LED Strip lighting around the deck. I have them on a Remote that allows me to Dim or change Modes. I've found them to be too bright even when on the lowest setting.

I've always add some Bacon Grease to my mix before packing. I found it adds flavor and not as easy to over cook it. Man, now I'm hungry for some Venison and Elk !!!

One of my favorite lakes !!! There's a WaterFalls going up river on the left that when there's water running is one of the most beautiful Falls I've ever seen. I can only imagine what it looks like now with all this water now and the lake being so low !!! I may just run up there when it stops raining just to see it again and take plenty of pic's and a Video too !!!
