I haven't killed the fish in over 30 years especially Brown and rainbow trout. Putembk let him grow bigger and catch him again.

Good day on Chatfield today. Using leydentnt's technique....worm harness with a bottom bouncer. Fished 3 hours starting at 6:30.
Caught 10 Walleye, a perch and a Rainbow. Fish turned off when the water skiers showed up. Going back Saturday.

I have got some really nice fish out of Williams Fork. They are far and few between but when you catch one it's a big one. That is mostly a Pike lake so the rainbows and browns in there are big or they would be eaten.

Will do. When you say the West shoreline do you mean down past the swim Beach? Just left anglers all got loaded up on blades and bottom bouncers never done this before should be interesting. I'm more at home with a fly rod.

Thanks leydentnt. Gonna try that tomorrow. I normally anchor and cast....never tried trolling. We will see tomorrow. Will pound the dam and the point to the west.

Tell me about Tarryall. I usually go to Spinny or Eleven Mile. Any good Pike left there or are they mostly stockers

To be honest I haven't fished Spinney much in the past few years. I just sold my 2nd home on the Colorado River near Parshall. Fishing has gone to the dogs there. To much pressure and water temps have really hurt this fishery.

So i bought a boat and am gonna start hitting South Park again. I live a couple of miles from Chatfield in Jeff Co but again beat to death. Boat ramps are like the NY subway.

Waterton canyon is running low and clear.

Get as far away from Denver as you can because the crowds are bad. Too many people here.

The rivers are a mess right now. But if you go high some of the smaller streams should produce good fishing.
