Hi J any luck locating that wax
I thought we were talking about fishing seat poles Sorry
We are talking about the curved seat poles correct. Springfield make them. You need to put floor mounts in for them and that is no big deal. It allows you to get a different seat position if you may be tight on space like being too close to the motor
I was on a friends boat with the curved pole and we sat together on a 1997 Sslyvan that is narrow compared to todays boat and we fished for crappie and it was good. The poles give each person about 5'' extra room We were sitting in the bow They are a good idea
HI J in C. Have you had any luck in procuring a place to purchase that wax. You got my attention on it and I am anxious to try it
I have a truck and would consider coming to your area to fish but it would have to be for at least 4 days if possible. What size boat do you have so I know I can pull it How soon will the fish be on target.
Dorny, I saw your from Remer and Thunder Lake and it brought back memories of more than 65 years past. Is there still a Thunder lake lodge. I'm sure owners have changed many times but I remember the lodge and a young man that lost his fingers on one hand that worked there fishing was good. Is the lodge still there and I heard the fishing got tough for a few years, is there any truth to that last statement?
I spoke the mfg of UV96 and it seems like we have to find a detailer that uses the product and purchase it from him. The mfg does not sell to stores is what I got out of it and sells exclusively to the shop. Not bad to have that kind of a market and keep the plates full
Thanks J and Whitey I am going to try to hunt it up first am tomorrow
Thanks for the advise Going to give it a try if I find it
I'm one of those guys that grew up with a Somonize cleaner and separate wax and still look for good wax but too many years later I know I want a single application cleaner/wax and prefer the liquid because of easy application. Many good waxes but I am looking for some input as to what everyone thinks is best for lasting on the boat.

I went from a Ranger Bass boat to a 18' Skeeter all species boat and used/use a line to control the boat after I launch I either tie to the dock or pull on shore. I used a milk crate with a retrieve line and put the crate in the water in the bow to climb in. The Skeeter is higher and I use a small ladder to achieve the same thing. The Skeeter is much more difficult I'm 78
I consider thr ZMan Jackhammer the leader of the pack. I've believe the action on the JH is better but I caught 2 Musky over 40 with the regular Black Chatterbait in 1/2 oz.
I've got a 18 ft Skeeter MX 1825 if you might want to join us. I've just installed the Livescope on a single pole also
