I think you can post a clip on here but I am unsure of that. See if you can find out and let us know. ๐
Thanks. I cast Magnum wiggle warts off of the Rocky point West of the railroad bridge jutting out into the Columbia, where many of the boats are trolling. There should have been a lot of guys fishing there.
Excellent. Did you notice many coming to the bank off of the Rocky point there in the bubble fishery? I have videos about that spot. #FishFinAddicts
OMG ... A 5 lb crappie? ๐

You receive $$$ per fish and special tagged fish. You try to keep them cold in your cooler and turn them in each evening. There are certain checkpoints along the river.
Can be very lucrative to those who devote their entire summer to it and involve their families, with gross profit figures in the mid to high five figures. You need to have a boat, you need to fish at night. And you need to learn the spots and the baits that work at various times through the season.
Don't know what everyone else thinks but, I would like to see the Zebco outfit and the sturgeon. ๐คจ
Sandy River has steelies in it. And Springers on the way. And I guess there's a bunch of smelt down at the mouth as well!
You are way too early. Go after them in the early summer on warm summer days. Another great spot is Clackamette Park in Oregon City.
Oh yeah. Dorado, Ahi, Mahimahi, and a big Wahoo to all of that! ๐
Hmm, now that is a tricky one. They are not going to make it easy for you.
No springers. Been a few Steelies here and there. Nothing to get excited about.
A local guide caught a nice buck the other day. I think they were down through that Oxbow run. They said the water was running 9 ft and clear. But that has surely changed by now.
I will go ahead and clue you in on my honey hole. Stevenson, Washington. Mouth of the wind River. Casting Wiggle Warts off the point into the Columbia River.
Go there in May. Dozens of Springers will hit the bank in a good day. See my videos.

There is a good hole at the Salmon River hatchery if they will still allow you to use the trail. Otherwise you have to cross the highway where you can get into some real combat fishing. But that was in the fall. Probably not much action now. But they had some really weird tackles regs last time I was there. Be sure to read up on that.
Pic is of a Chinook many years ago. Came out of a nice hole located away below the old restaurant that burned down, as I recall.

We've been hearing about some late-run native coho in the Clack as well as a few in the Sandy. But you better know what you're doing. Addicted Fishing just did a good video on bead fishing. Look them up. #FishFinAddicts
